Welcome to Krazy.Dreams.Uploaded, wanderer. You have just stumbled on the place where dreamers dream, made come true by a “Krazy” group of students from MCC 129 February 2009.
Before you proceed to prod through our minds and share our thoughts, allow us to introduce you to this site first. Krazy.Dreams.Uploaded is a project for a Mass Communications’ subject, designed by students for students (or any other age group for that matter). The Krazees chose such a name because we want it to be related to KDU College, the place where we met, as well as our learning institution.
Here you will find our thoughts on various subjects, arts and events such as anime, movies, games, places and fashion. From your readings, you will soon see that we consist of a diverse group of people, guys and girls alike. We love sarcasm, but at the same time, we are rational individuals who know how to respect others’ feelings and work. Feel free to agree with us or contradict us but be FOREWARNED: we do not take kindly to flaming and bashing.
That said, have fun! The Krazees will be happy to answer any inquiries and are bribable with chocolate or candy.

In occasion with the ongoing recession, we at Krazy Dreams Uploaded understand that there is a lot of gloom going around. Therefore, with the utmost dread, Thash and Elaine are going to dampen your mood with….
THE 5 MOST DEPRESSING MOVIES OF ALL TIME (Well, up to 2009 and according to us anyway)
Titanic (1997) One word: EPIC. It was EPIC in every sense, be it the sweeping romance played amazingly by Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet; the majestic ship; to the soundtrack featuring the greatest vocal powerhouse of our time, Celine Dion. Despite the fact that it was 3 hours long, our hearts sank along with the Titanic as Jack left Rose for his watery grave. We highly recommend it if you’ve just been through a bad breakup and desperately need a good cry. Besides, who hasn’t watch Titanic anyway? A Walk to Remember (2002) Good girls love bad boys. It’s a theme that doesn’t get old. Mandy Moore’s surprisingly excellent portrayal of innocent Christian girl Jamie complimented Shane West’s brash and nonchalant Landon well. If that’s not enough, throw in a fatal disease and an overbearing father and you’ve got the perfect tear-jerking recipe.
Edward Scissorhands (1990) The movie that launched Johnny Depp’s movie career to stardom. Who could resist those puppy dog eyes and the heart-breaking story? The story of an unfinished “project” that turned out to be the most pitiful yet lovable character Tim Burton has ever created. Depp was paired with his off-screen love at the time, Winona Ryder and they have undeniable chemistry onscreen. Dianne Wiest played the perfect mother figure to Depp’s tragic Edward. Watch it if you have a love for fairy tales that don’t always come true.
The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008) Born with a curious ailment to age backwards, Benjamin Button was shunned by society and distraught with the fact that he was different. Through his eyes, we see that reverse aging is not something to be revered, in the end, we are still going to die. Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett were marvelous onscreen as the on again off again couple, and the rest of the supporting cast were just as wonderful. The story takes place in many different eras, and there are a lot of memorable lines and lessons to be learned from it. It is a curious case indeed - one that you should not miss.
Moulin Rouge (2001) Music, romance and tragedy sound almost Shakespearian right? This movie does bear some resemblance to his masterpiece Romeo and Juliet. It also spawned the classic line, “The greatest thing you’ll ever learn is just to love and be loved in return.” Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman unleashed their hidden potential as singers and a pair of doomed lovers in this 2001 musical. This is one movie to watch if you believe in truth, beauty, freedom and above all, love.
Special mentions
Forrest Gump (1994) “My mama always said life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get.” That’s what you’ll get when you watch the movie that is Forrest Gump. A movie filled with poignant moments, you’ll never forget it after you watched it, like many of life’s experiences.
Bambi (1942) Here the human is the enemy, and the sweet little deer Bambi had to learn it the hard way. It has to be one of the most shocking instances in a Disney film to see a baby lose its mother in such a horrifying way. Other than bringing up memories of a carefree childhood, this is a must-watch movie for all Disney-lovers. The New World (2005) Colin Farrell, WHY?!! We were crying all right for the 3 hours of our lives that we can never get back. Aside from ruining the charming Disney version of John Smith, he made this movie worse by having NO CHEMISTRY at all with 14-year-old Q'Orianka Kilcher. Pedophilic charges aside, the only redeeming factor of this movie is John Rolfe, played by no other than the dashing Christian Bale. He moved us to tears by his presence onscreen towards the end of the movie, however, despite our strong minds, we couldn’t take it anymore… In conclusion, watching the History Channel was WAY better.
